So how do we find an already existing market? First, we identify the market and then we locate the something to sell to them.
So let’s locate a market. First, we want something that people are looking for every day. Second, it would be best if there was not a lot of competition in the market so it would be easy to break in.
As a beginning step, go to google.com and search for google keyword tool. This tool shows what people are looking for in google. All you have to do is put in a keyword and it will tell you how many people search for that keyword monthly and give you an idea of what the trend will be.
For example, you are interested in working at home online. What would you search for on google? Perhaps you would start with that term “working at home online”. Most people just type it in. It would show that 33,100 people search for that term monthly. In fact, the trend would be that more people are searching for that term.
What we know now is that people are looking for that term. We do not know specifically what they are looking for. We can address the next step by searching the term directly in google.com to see how many competitors.
